New Lifeguard Hut Campaign

Weymouth Canoe Lifeguards are currently raising money to build a new operational base on Weymouth seafront

We want this to be a spectacular building fit for the 21st century.

currently we use a 3X5 metre hut for everything, from admin to changing rooms and boat storage to first aid treatment. The present hut (as we call it) was built? in the early 1970s and is well past it's sell by date. It is in a very poor state of repair. Please donate some money now to move this project Forward.

The New Lifeguard Hut

Latest update:

November 2004
We have been offered several portakabin type buildings as a temporary accommodation subject to approval from the local authority Planning Department.

These units include much of the above facilities, however, we still want to raise the money for the permanant building as the portakabins have a limited life remaining

In the short term we may need transport and storage for the Portakabins. If you can assist us with this please get in contact with us by email.
